Do you ever find yourself going back to the same person?

Do you ever find yourself continuously going back to the same person even though all they make you feel is anger and jealousy? But when you're together it is so great sometimes, but the other bad emotions definitely outweigh the happy emotions? Do you know why we do this sometimes? We should know better than to keep going back to the same person who deliberately cancels and flakes out on you almost all the time and only talks about they guys/girls they like instead of focusing on you two....I kept going back to the same girl for about a year and a half...does anybody have a similar experience and could they help me yze why it kept happening? I'm not so sure it was the "need to be wanted" because I had plenty of friends and close people around me too...usually I don't dwell over a bad relationship experience but this time I've been dwelling for almost a year...I could care less for my other bad experiences, I just brushed it off within days...what is wrong with me?
