Which specialist for hypothyroidism?
For hi levels TSH, and thyroid peroxidase antibodies only after lupus panel and T3, total and T4, total were normal, which specialist would be best to determine what and if I have a thyroid problem that needs addressed? These were all normal 4 yrs ago. Just got labs done since my sisters have hypothyroidism. I haven't returned to Dr to discuss them yet - my insurance is bad and have to be careful with hi bills. Which specialist knows MORE about this, an endrocrinologist or ENT (ears, nose, and throat) Dr? Any expert advice on any of this much appreciated! I'm 53, and menopausal with a pinched nerve - don't know if the inflamation from nerve could up these levels or not. Can it?
