Have the televised debates told us more about the mainstream media than the candidates?

Absolutely! What I have learned about the media is that they are..just as N Cognito said...corporate controlled and want to keep that control. I do not like the way they pick our candidates for us, by favoring some, and excluding the ones that really stand up for us, the people. The media is just as much a part of the corruption in this country as the politicians and the Military Industrial Complex, and the judges, and so forth. They are all tied in together, and one of the best ways...if not the best way to tell if a candidate has integrity, and really stands up for the people and what is right, is how the media treats them. The worst thing the people can do for themselves and for this country, is to base their support for any candidate on the favor of the media, or on whoever the media says has the best chance of winning, or beating the other party. That is the best way to insure that we as a country continue on the destructive path we have been on, and to insure more of the same. It takes courage to embrace change for the better, that is why this country used to be called the home of the brave...but apparently that is no longer the case. The majority of us have become lazy, lax, and complacent sheeple! *sm*
