Hormones or a disorder?

Ok so my boy friend is being really crazy on me he is being really hyper,very selfish, and very sensitive.He is saying really strings things like he is asking me if I would ever kill him and he knows that I won't he is also being very impulsive.And at night he is getting ual with me and he is having really bad panic attacks.Help me I need it me and my boy friend have a really close friend ship and I don't want it to fail.
