To all who love and hate high school musical?

i'm not bad mouthing or suppoting high school musical, but i need to know. it's kinda sad the media cannot come up with something original. like this for example: high school musical is just a rip-off of GREASE; the only thing that's changed is the kids don't smoke and none of the boys are perves, which i understand because times have changed. another thing that bugs me is they make all these kids seem so well-behaved and that they've never done a wrong thing in their life and act so nice. ****! even Sharpay is nice and she's supposed to be the stuck-up snot. What's going on? why isn't America coming up with anything original and why aren't they researching how kids really behave in school? the last thing i have to say before you all hate me, WHERE THE **** ARE THE MISFITS? In the movies the "misfits" want to fit in. i was a misfit and i was happy with who i was; as are many misfits i know. why not make a film where the misfits rebel against society? i would like your inputs please
