The parallels between Buddhist teaching and Jesus' teaching are actually very shallow, and are better explained by Jesus repeating teachings found within his own Jewish context. In response to the two examples you pointed out, I'd say that love of money was considered a detriment to love of God within Judaism, and that the law of reaping and sowing was a traditional Jewish truism which did not have links to Buddhism.
