Great love story novels?

Can you recommend a good love story to get hooked into. Something in the drama category, but no Nicholas Sparks or Ian McEwan. Need a good love story. Any favorites? Already read the Twilight books, I'm looking for something more adult. And I'm already reading The Time Traveller's Wife, so something else please.
