Wireless internet on laptop not working/connected!help?

Possibly the wireless connection on is not pressed to activate it . This on is at the top of your keypad in the F section of keys , it is displayed as a small beacon ? , I think it is F1 or F2 look and check (i am using a Mac and the display is different to windows). I have had this problem when using a p.c before , or maybe you have not gone through the set up procedure for wireless connection . Have you gone through the set up wizard programme ? . We have 5 computers in the house and we have no problems so i dont think its the signal blocking . I am not brilliant at the computer lingo myself but i am sure that what i have said is pretty close to the problem
