Relationship Problems....!?! Please Help!?!?

I am a high-schooler. Most of my friends have been treating me like dirt. They really aren't that nice. We rarely talk any more, I try to make an effort to be their friend but they throw me off... I guess they aren't really my friends. I have begun to hang around other people and make new friends. I met this kid in P.E last year.. he was kind of fun and cute. I am begining to hang out with him this year .... but he is one year younger than me and his brother is one year older. They always kind of hang with each other a lot. They are both pretty smart and I know most of them very well. I know that is would be awkward to date or (go out with) the kid I met in P.E last year.. becasue I know his brother very well...The other day I completely ignored my other friends... I was in the library with the kid,his brother and his brother's friend.. It was a bit awkward becasue I didn't even say "Hi" or anything... just continued talk to my new friends.. didn't even look at them ... I know that they noticed me.. becasue I could tell they saw me... So anyways.. I know I'm at that age were I should be dating or (going out) with someone now. I don't really know that many contact to set me up with someone.. I know that meeting someone over the internet would be a bit creepy also unless I know them in person... I jsut need help on what to do... I mean I'm going to be going to college and still have not kissed, or "really" hugged,became close to anyone of the opposite . It is kind of sad... becasue I hang out with I lot of boy's but we are just friends.. Let me just clarify something here "I am a chick, kind of cute, has unque red hair, about 5'3, a great personality and never kissed a boy" NEVER KISSED A BOY!!! I kind of feel like a failure.. a failure in life.. I know a majority of people don't get a boy friend until college ,but I'm so inexperienced.... I don't know how to get one really... I mean they have to be interested in you and you have to be interested in them and hang out a lot.. and have feelings for one another... I've had my ego crushed so many times... I am numb to it... I need help on how to get close to someone... becasue I am very shy and anti-social a bit... need to be slighly coax out of a shell... Your help would be greatly appreciated... Thank you!
