Why hasn't the Hubble Space Telescope taken any pictures of extra-solar planets?

It's been done! With the Very Large Telescope (VLT) of the European Southern Observatory (ESO) in Chile. The Hubble Space Telescope and the Japanese Subaru Telescope each contributed an image, too. This site for the image =>http://www.space.com/scienceastronomy/…
